As an acoustic string band quartet consisting of Rob Nelson on Banjo, Eric Cogar on Mandolin, Mark Graibus on Guitar and Randy Reams on Upright Bass. Chu Dat Frawg is not your ordinary string band.

While deeply rooted in American Roots music (Bluegrass, Country, Country Blues, Delta Blues, Folk & Americana) they enthusiastically incorporate elements of more contemporary styles and genres creating a truly a unique blend of sounds unique unto themselves.

   Formed in the heart of the Ohio Firelands, The Frawgs have been delighting audiences from Ohio to Las Vegas since 2012. Their collection of original songs are accompanied by interesting renditions of contemporary surprises and time honored standards. The group released their first studio album “Whispers from the Ether” in 2014. Their single Charlemagne has reached regular rotation on public radio.

The group released their second studio effort "Coddiwomple" in January of 2018. Recorded at Far Around Recording in Norwalk, Ohio they have expanded upon the sound they have cultivated over the last 7 years.
